DUNDEE United have dropped their interest in Celtic striker Denny Johnstone due to the uncertain outcome of any transfer tribunal.
The Tannadice side snapped up 18-year-old Rangers midfielder Charlie Telfer on a three-year deal earlier this month however a training ground compensation fee is still to be agreed between the clubs.
United were also keen to bring in 19-year-old Johnstone, but have ended their interest due to the possibility of a second tribunal.
