Rowan Vine has dismissed suggestions that Hibernian's luxurious training complex has caused the squad to go soft.

The Easter Road side are just three points above the relegation play-off spot in the SPFL Premiership and host city rivals Hearts on Sunday.

The Morton striker - who was moved out of Easter Road in January by manager Terry Butcher - has watched Hibs from afar as they continue to toil in the bottom six.

He is not convinced that their performances have been affected by high-end training facilities, though. "When I was at the club I heard all about a soft centre," he said. "But there's a lot of things that come together in how you get results."
