David Weir is confident that Lyle Taylor can continue his prodigious progress with Sheffield United, after the striker signed from Falkirk for £250,000.

Taylor scored 29 goals last season to become Weir's primary signing target when he took charge at United.

He considers Taylor to be a well-rounded player but will strive to develop him further at Bramall Lane. "He's got a little bit of everything," said Weir of a player who could be replaced at Falkirk by former Rangers forward Rory Loy. "We'll look to keep improving him."
