Curtis Cup: Matthews confident GB&I can wrest cup back from USA

Given that the USA has won the last seven Curtis Cup matches, you could say that the biennial contest has become something of a cakewalk.

Ahead of this weekend's joust at Nairn, the visitors even unveiled a Pancake during a pre-tournament waffle with the media yesterday.

In Brooke Pancake, the Americans certainly have an undisputed champion in terms of the best name at this particular Highland show, but Tegwen Matthews, the captain of the Great Britain and Ireland side, is confident her girls will also make a name for themselves here.
