Yesterday, some 1097 metres above sea level at the snow-capped peak of the Cairngorm funicular railway, the officials of the €220,000 championship announced that Macdonald Hotels, the company which owns the tournament's venue of Spey Valley in Aviemore, will be coming on board as hosting sponsor.
