Pawel Japol racked up a calamitous 37-over 109, to finish 45 strokes behind first round leader, Victor Rui. On an eventful opening day which saw Andriy Shevchenko, the former AC Milan and Chelsea striker, shoot an 84, Japol's eye-watering round certainly got the tongues wagging.
Starting on the 10th tee, a 13 on the 13th was followed on the 14th and 15th by a nine and a seven. He then tossed a ten into the mix on his back nine as he posted halves of 57 and 52 on a card strewn with debris.
