On the day that Aberdeen Asset Management announced a two-year sponsorship extension with both the Scottish men's and women's amateur golf squads, Matthew, who is also backed by the global investment group, confirmed that she will return to her native East Lothian in May to defend the Ladies Scottish Open title at Archerfield Links.
