American Matt Kuchar won the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village in Ohio yesterday by two shots after a final round of 68 gave him an aggregate of 276 and victory over compatriot Kevin Chappell, who was second on 278 with another American, Kyle Stanley, in third, three strokes adrift of Chappel.
Tiger Woods finished well down the field in a tie for 65th place after a final round of level-par 72 gave him an aggregate of 296. England's Justin Rose, who started the day in fourth place, dropped out of contention after a final round of 73 left him on an aggregate of 284, 12 shots behind the winner.
