Laird out to end long home wait

It has been 13 years since a Scot last triumphed in the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open and Martin Laird is eager to bring that miserable run to an end.

There is still a lot of golf to be played between now and the domestic showpiece at Castle Stuart near Inverness in July, but the US-based 29-year-old is already gearing himself up for the challenge.
