Scotland's Catriona Matthew moved into contention at the Kraft Nabisco Championship yesterday with a second-round 68 to be just three shots behind the early clubhouse leaders.
Matthew was four over par after six holes of her opening round in California, but responded with four birdies for an opening 72. The Scot is three off the lead held by American Lexi Thompson and Korea's Se Ri Pak.
American Michelle Wie was a shot behind on six under, while overnight leader Shanshan Feng of China was also six under having yet to start her second round.
