Alex Ferguson has backed an attempt to foster grassroots sport by recalling his days as a young footballer in Glasgow's Govan.
In a special video interview, the Manchester United manager explains his support for the Olympic legacy charity Join in Local Sport, which is encouraging clubs across the UK to offer free taster sessions between the main London 2012 event and the Paralympics, which opens next Wednesday.
