Bolt declared fit for London

Usain Bolt is fit and raring to go ahead of the Olympics, according to his agent.

Bolt had worried London organisers as well as his legion of fans when he flew to Munich for treatment by celebrated sports doctor Hans-Wilhelm Mueller-Wohlfahrt. This followed losses to training partner Yohan Blake who edged him out in both the 100 and 200metres at the Olympic trials.

But Bolt's agent Ricky Simms moved quickly to play down fears that he is a doubt for the Games, adding that the 25-year-old sprinter was merely suffering from tightness in his hamstring."He's back to normal, he's back in full training and he's good to go," Simms told the Telegraph."His body is back to normal and the muscle tightness has gone."Simms acknowledged that Bolt had nursed the minor problem at the Olympic trials at the National Stadium in Kingston.But after managing to qualify for London in spite of the complaint, the Jamaican was ordered by his coach to fully recover before preparing to defend his 100m, 200m and 4x100m crowns at the Games."He had a slightly tight hamstring during the trials and that's why possibly he didn't push as hard as he could have," added Simms."He was just protecting himself and the main thing at the trials was to get through them and to get on the team for the Olympic Games."His coach decided that he needed to get a little bit of massage and treatment and rest up, and then train again hard next week so that he's ready for the Olympic Games."
