Probably stare at the walls until our jowls begin to quake with boredom, to be honest. In these self-absorbed times, we like nothing better than to shun normal social interaction, scurry off up to the garret and resume the near constant process of tweeting and blogging. As a medium for fruitless point-scoring, there is none finer. With its giddy combination of perceived anonymity and random heckling, all played out in front of a notional 'live audience', the old interweb provides the perfect arena for relentless bickering and squabbling.
