Rumgay cites pro-English bias as he is dropped from London 2012 Development Squad
Gavin Rumgay, Scotland’s No.1 player, has accused the British Table Tennis Federation of pro-English bias after being struck off the Development Squad for London 2012.
The 26-year-old, No.2 in the squad, was informed that he was no longer part of the programme on Sunday, just hours after he had beaten England’s No.1 Paul Drinkhall in straight sets on his way to claiming an 18th title on the British Grand Prix circuit in four years.
