Gary Moore's stable star silenced any remaining doubters with a sublime display in the Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham to put the seal on a memorable campaign which has yielded five victories from six starts.
The eight-year-old could still defend his crown in the Celebration Chase on the final day of the jumps season on April 26, but Moore said: "I'll be guided by Jamie [Moore, son and stable jockey] and Sire De Grugy. He's come out of the race really well. Everything is back to normal, but he won't be going to Aintree or Punchestown. If he goes anywhere, it will be Sandown, and that will only be if the horse is telling me he wants to run again and the ground is suitable."
Gold Cup runner-up On His Own is also unlikely to run in the National on April 5 and is instead likely to contest the Punchestown Gold Cup.
