IN their first major event since the Olympics, Britain's athletes will attempt to reignite and harness the home spirit of 2012 as they chase history in the European Team Championships today and tomorrow.
A total of 63 medallists from the London Olympics and the most recent world and European Championships will be among 844 athletes before a sell-out crowd at Gateshead.
