Rhona Auckland and Kirsten McAslan will target medals at next week's European Under-23 Championships after being confirmed in a 35-strong British team for Tallinn.
Auckland, ranked second in Europe, has opted for the 10000 metres while McAslan, who landed a European indoor medal earlier this year, will double up in the 400m and the 4x400.
Fellow Scots Cameron Boyek (1500m) and Rachel Hunter (hammer) are also included although a number of leading prospects - including sprint star Dina Asher-Smith - have opted to focus on the senior world championships in Beijing.
Scottish quartet Cameron Tindle, Ben Greenwood. George Evans and Carys McAulay have been named in GB&NI 27-strong squad for next month's World Youth Championships in Colombia.
Tindle, 17, who made his senior Scot debut indoors in January, tops the European 200 metres junior rankings after running 20.94 seconds in Loughborough last month. Evans is currently ranked seventh in the world in the discus while 800m prospects Greenwood and McAuley are considered outside hopes for a medal.
