Scotland regained the Men's Home International Series in Swansea last night, winning the title decider against England by a single shot.

The Scots went into their final match with only one victory while England had two, and knew that in order to take the title nothing short of a victory would do. In a pulsating contest which was played out over 126 ends across the board, the Scots came from behind to score to snatch the title.

Colin Walker and Paul Foster were their only two winning skips, Robert Grant while Derek Oliver, Darren Burnett and Alex Marshall lost. It was enough to regain the title they last held in 2009.

Meanwhile, the British Championships continue in Swansea venue today with the men's and women's individual events, with 11 titles to be decided tomorrow.

Yesterday Iain McLean booked a semi-final berth in the singles after disposing of Wales' Phil Rowlands 21-5, and was joined by the Ryan and Darren Burnett in the pairs. In the women's play-offs, Lesley Gordon, Karen McAndrew and Celia Smith will meet Wales.
