Boxing: Frank Maloney says there is no such thing as bad publicity

The boxing promoter Frank Maloney paid a flying visit to Glasgow yesterday primarily to assist in the promotion of Lee McAllister's European light-welterweight title bout with champion Denis Shafikov, of Russia, at Aberdeen's Exhibition Centre this weekend.

But Maloney, who is co-promoting the show in association with Tommy Gilmour, was inevitably dragged into the debate concerning the shameful scenes when Dereck Chisora and David Haye turned a post-fight media conference into a brawl.
