Efforts are being made to find a suitable European venue to showcase Major League Baseball

A REGULAR season Major League Baseball game could be played in the UK within the next few years, with Scotland a possible host.

MLB, the organisation that runs professional baseball in the United States and Canada, has previously taken competitive games to Japan, Puerto Rico and Mexico, and is now keen to expand the sport's global appeal by allowing a European city to host a game.
