Just two- 10ths of a second separated the top three riders after 11 combinations progressed from round one and it was Suffolk-based Davies who took the £500 top prize, clocking 35.86sec on Allure III, pipping Paul Barker (Townhead Zanzibar) into second, while Graham Lovegrove (Alfie 192) was third.
