Tommy Freeman wants to repay the faith of his Glasgow Rocks team-mates by shooting down London Lions tonight and lifting the Scots to their highest BBL position of the season.

The American admits he's disappointed himself in his stint at the Emirates Arena, averaging only 11.3 points per game and looking a shadow of the player who lit up Worcester two years ago.

But with the chance to overtake London for fifth place with a win at the Copper Box, Freeman has vowed to take any chance that falls his way.

"Guys are definitely starting to look for me," he said. "I'm feeling it a little bit more. And then it comes down to me trying to show Sterling that I can make shots when I get in there and not be a liability on defence. That's not been a strength of mine this year. But I feel like I'm starting that now.

"Ultimately, you want to play well on game day. I practice well. I stay afterwards and put up shots. I lift hard in the weight room. I try to do everything I can to prepare myself to play well. So when I don't, it's even more frustrating. But that's part of being professional, retaining that confidence that when you work hard, it will come off."

A fourth straight victory would be another season-high for Glasgow, who have defeated the Lions in both their previous meetings this term. But with the hosts striving to shake off their own reputation as under-achievers, Freeman claims the Rocks will need a repeat of the form they showed in demolishing Worcester three days ago.

"London will be a tough test," he said. "We've had two close games and the last one came down to Kieron Achara hitting a big shot at the very end. We don't go on the road a lot during mid-week which presents a different challenge. But we have to ignore that and come out ready."
