GRANT SHELDON believes the priceless insights pinched from the mighty brothers Brownlee will aid his cause in tomorrow's World Series in London, even if the Olympic gold and bronze medallists from 2012 remain a class apart from their domestic foes.

The 21-year Scot senses he has been restored to full health after coming third in this month's European Cup in the wake of a disappointing start to the campaign.

However with Alistair and Jonny set to duel once again with Spain's Javier Gomez for the world title before turning their attentions to Rio, Sheldon has his own ambitions in play in Hyde Park.

"I look up to them and respect them but I've never been afraid of them on the couple of times we have been on the start line," the former world junior medallist said. "But when you see them train, there is that wow factor. They do things which are pretty amazing.

"They have a training place outside Benidorm and I went out there for a week in January with them for the first time. It was pretty chilled but you see the emphasis they put into each session. There's always a target. And they're so professional in being ready and trying to meet that target."

Fellow Scot Ritchie Nicholls will start as favourite at the Ironman Salou in Barcelona.
