Gymnastics: Scottish duo out to impress selectors

Gymnasts are accustomed to twists and turns in their sport and the selection process for Great Britain's Olympic men's team is not a straightforward one.

The last chance to sway the selectors comes at this week's British Championships at the Echo Arena in Liverpool where Scots Dan Purvis and Dan Keatings hope to confirm their places.

A matter of hours after the conclusion, the selectors will meet to decide on the five gymnasts who will go forward to the British Olympic Association for ratification and, realistically, there are seven in contention.
