Gymnastics: Ukraine gymnasts given green light

The International Gymnastics Federation have moved to ensure Ukraine will have a team at the European Championships in Sofia later this month.

It was feared that Ukraine, pipped for Olympic bronze by Great Britain in 2012, would not take part because of the political unrest in the country and shortage of funds, but the FIG have agreed to loan money to the Ukrainian federation to enable them to send a team. Scotland's Daniel Keatings and Dan Purvis are part of the Great Britain team for the championships.
