IN-FORM Kevin Regan last night urged his success-hungry Fife Flyers team-mates: "Make home advantage count."

The Kirkcaldy club entertain play-off rivals Hull Stingrays who are eighth with 41 points from 44 games.

Sixth-placed Flyers have 44 points from 47 starts and have won two of the three games between the sides in Fife this term, including a 5-0 shutout on Hull's last visit.

Regan, who has received rave reviews all season, said: "Hull are dangerous and they have games in hand.

"Our fans have been great all season and we must make home advantage count going down the stretch."

Elsewhere, Braehead Clan coach Ryan Finnerty said there was no panic despite Wednesday's 2-0 defeat at Sheffield Steelers.

The Glasgow-based, Elite League pace-setters travel to Nottingham Panthers who are fourth.

Clan were whipped 6-3 on their last trip to the Lace City but Finnerty remains up-beat despite the mid-week defeat which leaves them on 67 points from 47 games, three clear of Steelers who have a game in hand.

He said: "We don't celebrate too hard and don't panic when we lose.

"We'll rest up and get ready for Nottingham."

Elsewhere, Edinburgh Capitals, who are ninth and currently two points out of play-off contention, look for a much-needed victory at seventh-placed Coventry Blaze.
