McIntosh v McBain for Art of Combat lightweight title

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS: THE amateur C-class lightweight title will be on the line at Art of Combat 5 in Fife tonight.

The stacked card is headlined by the title clash between Craig 'Mop' McIntosh and Paul McBain at the Alhambra Theatre in Dunfermline.

Amateur MMA C-class bouts have superseded semi-pro fights, with C-class encounters fought under the same rules as pro MMA but with slightly heavier gloves and with no elbows allowed.

Also in action on the all C-class card is rising welterweight star Calum Hunter from Glasgow.

He takes on experienced Judo player Iain Feenan in what is sure to be a thorough test of young Hunter's skills.

Hunter's Gladiatorial Combat team-mates Jasim Beg and Stephen 'Slick' Cusick are also in action.

Cusick takes on Scott Malone in what promises to be a thrilling encounter, while the highly-rated youngster Beg faces John Willis of the Edge MMA team.

In a featherweight number one contender fight, Aidan Stephen is up against Calum Murie.

Striker Kelson Duffy takes on David Hampton and Chris Cronie fights Rossco Greig in the night's other standout match-ups.

There may be a limited number of tickets available on the door.

Doors open at 5pm tonight (Saturday) with the show starting at 6.30pm sharp.
