Aneyeforaneye got the better of Carlito Birgante in a thrilling finish to win the Crabbie's Alcoholic Ginger Beer Novices' Chase on Perth's final card of the racing year.
The mare, sent off at 12-1 and trained by Malcolm Jefferson, edged out the Irish raider and 2011 Coral Cup hero by a neck.
Malton-based Jefferson said: "She'll make a nice sort for mares' races as she jumps well and has quite a decent turn of foot."
