Trained by Richard Fahey, the Majestic Missile colt was made favourite for his debut at the Scottish track two weeks ago and just came up short against a sharper newcomer, trained by David Barron.
The word was out on course that Majestic Moon was above average, but he showed signs of greenness in the early stages and he will have learned from the experience. He could not be in better hands and Fahey is really getting into top gear now with his juveniles.
