SCOTTISH cricket was given a major boost last night when it was confirmed that the Saltires will entertain all-conquering England next summer, writes William Dick.
The official one-day international, the third between the teams in recent years, will be staged on Sunday, August 12.
Roddy Smith, chief executive of Cricket Scotland, said: “It is fantastic news that England will be coming up. They undertook to play in Scotland every second year and they have been true to their word.
