Newtonmore were celebrating on Saturday as the first team strode into the last four of the Camanachd Cup and the seconds lifted the Sutherland Cup, writes Kenneth Stephen.

Fraser MacKintosh scored the only goal in a tight quarter-final against Lochaber to book a cup semi-final slot against Kyles next month, and they are still in command of the Premier League.

"It is a case of trying to see out the championship and hopefully we can land the Camanachd Cup again, " said manager Norman MacArthur, cautiously.
