England 16 Ireland 20: Tommy Bowe try ends English grand slam hopes

While much about rugby changes, some things seem eternal.

It is half a lifetime – 35 years – since Wales coach John Dawes commented that “England have a great facility for winning the ball, but not much for using it”.
