Six Nations: Quest for points continues as try-shy championship reaches its conclusion

The 2010 RBS 6 Nations Championship is on course to match the dullest on record, as Andy Robinson’s team head for Dublin on Saturday requiring to score one try to avoid establishing themselves as Scotland’s most impotent Six Nations Championship side yet.

Not since 1994, when Rob Wainwright’s try against England was the team’s only touchdown in the championship, has a Scotland team been more ineffective when attempting to cross the opposition line. To date they have scored two, both against Wales.
