TOMMY SEYMOUR will become a Glasgow Warriors centurion when the Scotstoun club face Leinster in the Pro12 on Friday.

The Scotland international, who was one of only two Scots to be selected for this summer's British and Irish Lions tour along with teammate Stuart Hogg, has been named at full-back for the trip to Dublin.

Seymour will make his 100th appearance for the club and is joined by Leonardo Sarto and Lee Jones in the back three, while Peter Horne retains his place at fly-half ahead of Finn Russell.

“It has been a good couple of weeks for Tommy, he’s always looking to develop and better himself and it’s great for him to reach a personal milestone," said head coach Gregor Townsend.

“Having signed a new contract earlier in the season I’m sure he’ll go on to shine for the club many more times in the future.

“Leinster are a team we always look forward to playing, they’re one of the best teams in Europe and play really positive rugby. We’ll have to go there and play really well to come away with a win.”

Glasgow are currently sixth in the Pro12 table with two games remaining, while Leinster top the standings having won 17 of their 20 league games this season.
