Edinburgh 18 Munster 23: Hosts humbled

A Tim Visser hat-trick was not enough to save Edinburgh from a deeply disappointing start to their RaboDirect Pro12 campaign as Munster battled their way back to a comeback victory at Murrayfield last night.

Up against his native province, home coach Michael Bradley had targeted a flying start to the season by sending out his strongest available side against the Irish side which, as ever, is resting several key men in the early part of the season and they began well with two early scores from Visser.
