Warren Gatland, the Wales head coach, has acknowledged that there is growing pressure on his side to secure victory against one of the game's southern-hemisphere heavyweights.

The last time the Welsh managed that feat was in a 21-18 win over Australia, just eight months after securing the RBS 6 Nations title.

Wales will face the Wallabies again tomorrow in the first of their autumn Test series and Gatland hopes that his players can deliver a famous result. "We are pretty aware we have been knocking on the door on a number of occasions to win games," he said.
