RYAN Grant has acknowledged that his great form for Scotland will not mean he is in line for an automatic recall for title-chasing Glasgow Warriors.

The leaders aim to step up their RaboDirect Pro12 play-off quest by beating the European champions Leinster at the RDS Showground in Dublin on Saturday.

Grant – voted one of the leading props in the RBS 6 Nations series – will not find out until today if he even figures in the plans of the coach, Gregor Townsend, for the match.

"There isn't time to catch your breath," he said. "We have a huge title push on the go and I am looking forward to getting back to the club and being involved, if I can get into the team. I've missed the boys. They have been performing outstandingly well over the past couple of months. It would be great to nail that play-off spot with another great result against Leinster."

Grant is determined to build on his first full Six Nations series, which has put him in contention for selection for the Lions tour to Australia. "A year ago we finished last and now we are third; we are heading in the right direction," he said.

Ulster front-line players Johann Muller, Nick Williams and Jared Payne have recovered from injury and are in the squad to face Edinburgh at Murrayfield tomorrow. Their coach Mark Anscombe has also named Ireland rookie Paddy Jackson and Test team-mate Paul Marshall but Iain Henderson and Luke Marshall are both ruled out after picking up injuries against Italy.
