Toulouse have been struck by a spate of injuries to leading players in the build up to their back-to-back Champions Cup meetings with Glasgow Warriors.

Their veteran coach Guy Noves labelled Sunday's first tussle in France as "a crunch" - and revealed he is likely to be without leading international playmakers Luke McAllister and Toby Flood. Former champions Toulouse also suffered a confidence setback at the weekend when they suffered a shock Top14 defeat by Grenoble, in the wake of a six-match winning sequence. However, Noves shrugged off the result and insisted: "The game that really matters is the crunch one against the Warriors on our home turf.

"I am more concerned about our injury situation than about losing to Grenoble because several factors counted against us.

"On the eve of the match, we lost Imanol Harinordoquy with a back problem. "Then McAllister suffered a torn calf muscle, so we brought in Toby Flood - but he strained hid adductor during the warm up and he couldn't take the kicks at goal.

"We will see what happens over the next day or two, but I think Luke is definitely out of the Glasgow fixture and Toby doesn't have much chance either."

Noves added that scrum-half Sebastian Bezy is also doubtful with ankle damage. In the absence of All Blacks ace McAllster and former England star Flood, the kicking duties would pass down to Jean-Marc Doussain, who missed four out of nine penalties in the loss to Grenoble.

Noves went on: "Nothing went in our favour in that game. Conditions were terrible with heavy rain. They took all their chances and we wasted a lot of ours."
