The 47-13 home win means they have won four of their five matches in Group C.
West took an early 3-0 lead before Hamilton got themselves going when a penalty try and a converted one from Craig McLeish put them 14-3 to the good. A second penalty for the visitors made it 14-6 before Stephan Dreyer for Hamilton's third try and that was followed soon after by John Selfridge's converted effort.
