Ryan Grant, the Scotland prop, is expected to play his first match since May when he gets a run out for Ayr in the BT Premiership tomorrow.

The 29-year-old, who toured Australia with the British and Irish Lions in 2013, had a shoulder operation following last season's PRO12 final and missed Scotland's summer tour as a result.

He is due for a return to action with his pro draft club tomorrow as they travel to Goldenacre to take on Heriot's in one of the matches of the day in the top flight.

Meanwhile, Grant's Scotland team-mate Ryan Wilson will continue his rehabilitation from injury with a second successive outing for Stirling County. They face Currie at Malleny Park tomorrow.
