Twenty players from the BT Women's Premier League have been called up to the Scotland squad for the upcoming RBS Six Nations.
Nine of those come from newly-crowned champions Murrayfield Wanderers, with five from Hillhead Jordanhilll, three from RHC Cougars, and a further three from Melrose.
They are joined by Hannah Sloan from Stewartry and eight players who ply their trade down south at various clubs in the shape of Worcester, Richmond, Saracens, Wasps, Waterloo, Litchfield and Northumbria University.
Worcester prop Tracy Balmer will once again captain the side, as she did in 2014, as Scotland look to put an end to a very poor run in the competition in recent years.
The last time Scotland won a match in the competition was back in 2010 when they edged out France at home.
Since then, they have drawn one, lost 23 and have finished bottom of the table every year since 2011.
However, Scottish Rugby has now put more money into the women's game and that has allowed the national squad to meet up on a more regular basis and play warm-up matches.
Scotland Women's head coach Jules Maxton said: ""We have named a squad that has an exciting mix of youth and experience.
"The first few months of our season have seen us play Italy away, which was a valuable experience, stage a number of camps and take part in a training game with the Nomads.
"All our preparations have gone well and the build-up to the Six Nations concludes with a camp at the end of this month before our opening game away against France."
In terms of new faces in the squad, the likes of Nuala Deans and Chloe Rollie will be looking to make an impact in the backs, with back-row Jude Telfer and a number of others also hoping for debuts in February and March.
Scotland open up their campaign in France on February 7.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
