Scottish prospect Scott Steele has making quite an impact this season with London Irish as the English side prepare to start their European Rugby Challenge Cup campaign against Rovigo.

Anyone who saw Steele's performance as his club defeated Leicester Tigers at Welford Road 22-19 in September cannot have failed to have been impressed and his form has been good since. Originally from Dumfries, after a handful of matches for Watsonians in 2011 he was soon heading down to Leicester Tigers where he spent the previous three seasons, earning nine caps for Scotland under-20s. Although the move to London Irish has given him a real boost, he is still not thinking too far ahead.

"I'll just do what I do and if Scotland selection comes up in the future then of course I'd be delighted," he said.
