Warriors tee up friendly match

Glasgow Warriors have confirmed that they will host Harlequins in the first of their pre-season friendlies.

The Aviva Premiership side will visit held at Scotstoun on August 23 before Warriors take on London Scottish in another friendly seven days later.

Harlequins - who finished fourth in their division last year and boast such as Mike Brown and Chris Robshaw in their squad - hosted the Glasgow side at Twickenham Stoop last summer.

"It was a close match between the sides last summer and we're anticipating another tough game in Glasgow," said Gregor Townsend, the Warriors head coach. "Harlequins are a quality team with a number of internationals in their squad and they play an excellent brand of rugby."
