JACKIE Rice and Kate McBride, who have scored in every round, were
again on the mark for Inveralmond Ladies yesterday to help the Edinburgh
side retain the League Cup by beating Aberdeen 3-1.
Rice scored the first goal in nine minutes with an 18-yard drive, and
Elaine Faulkner added another in 23 minutes as Inveralmond dominated. A
third goal, from McBride, took the game beyond the range of Aberdeen,
who pulled one back through Donna Mitchell.
