Henderson was pleased when Celtic announced there is to be a statue of Jock Stein at Parkhead and said it would be fitting if Rangers recognised Smith in a similar fashion.

RANGERS legend Willie Henderson has urged the club to honour Walter Smith’s achievements by erecting a statue of him at Ibrox.
