THE Murrays will be hogging the headline billing but it will also be a family affair for former Davis Cup star and British No 2 Jamie Baker at the Emirates Arena this weekend.

While the 28-year-old retired from the sport in the summer of 2013 and now works in banking in the City of London for Santander, he will none the less take his place in the commentary box for Eurosport this weekend, where he will be flanked by several members of his extended family at the venue in the East End of the city.

Dad Gordon, a handy club player, will attend the event as the current chairman of Tennis Scotland, a role he has held since 2008, while mum Lynne is spending the weekend as a volunteer driver for Davis Cup VIPs.

There is also a generation game taking place. Lynne's nephew, Cameron Caldwell, is one of the ball squad for the Great Britain v USA tie under the watchful eye of his dad, and her brother Ronald, who still plays regularly at 55, having competed at Junior Wimbledon and been a member of Glasgow club Broomhill's Scottish Cup winning team for several years. To complete the clan gathering, Lynne and Ronald's mum Molly will be an enthusiastic spectator at the Emirates Arena all weekend and, at the age of 82, still plays doubles every week at Glasgow's Western club.
