Top of the list was Novak Djokovic, the world No.2 and defending champion, who is progressing through this tournament at such a rate as to trouble the naked eye.
Paolo Lorenzi, of Italy, was permitted just two games against him in the first round and Brazil's Rogerio Dutra Silva didn't fare too much better here, taking just five in a 6-2, 6-1, 6-2 defeat. The Serb has so far been detained on the court for a combined total of eight minutes short of three hours.
