Not only were his hopes of reaching the Wimbledon final crushed for the second successive year, he was left jokingly swearing he will have revenge on his Scottish opponent for the incident in the third set when, a break point down, Murray swatted a shot straight at the Frenchman's nether regions from point-blank range. "I will have revenge sometime," the 27-year-old from Le Mans said darkly.
