It's worth tapping into your inner child before entering Step Brothers, a juvenile yet amusing new comedy from the Anchorman team. Will Ferrell and John C Reilly, reprising their double act from Talladega Nights, play the step-siblings in question, two mid-life layabouts (one's 40, the other 39) yet to move out of the family home, who are thrown together when the former's mum (Mary Steenburgen) meets the latter's dad (Richard Jenkins) and quickly weds. The ensuing hate-love relationship, involving testicles, bullies and lustful in-laws, satisfies in a gleefully lowbrow, guilty-pleasure kind of way. Or perhaps your reviewer needs to grow up too.
