Donald Macleod, founder and managing director of Cumbernauld-based DM Design, which was last week ordered to pay £90,000 for "blighting" the public with thousands of unwanted calls, insisted his firm always put customer service first.
He said: "We have removed the software – and instructed action against the provider – and reverted to a tried-and-tested service that I will now personally oversee to ensure we comply, and indeed surpass, every guideline available in regards to customer contact.
